Darrell Collins - President


After serving 8 years in the Military as a Communications specialist, Darrell began his career in health care as a Nationally Registered Paramedic.  During his tenure as a Paramedic, he was a Lead Supervisor, Training Coordinator, Q.A. Office Director as well as holding instructor credentials and consulting across the United States and Oklahoma as an BCLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, 12 Lead EKG Instructor.  During that time he served on a panel for the early detection of myocardial infarction and pre-hospital administration of a National Thrombolytic Study. 

Darrell is a Teen Challenge Graduate and has been associated with Teen Challenge in many different ways since 2004.

Darrell currently serves as CEO of Great Plains Sleep Specialist after beginning his career in sleep medicine in 2007 with Great Plains as partner/manager/director of multiple sleep centers across Oklahoma.

He became partners in SleeProz, Inc. in 2010, and has assisted in the set up several sleep disorder centers, worked closely with several board-certified sleep specialist physicians in establishing policies, procedures and protocols as well as budgetary and technical oversight.

Darrell belongs to the BASS and is an avid fisherman, his other memberships include: AASM, AAST and AHA.

Darrell has been married to his beautiful wife for 10 years and has a wonderful daughter.

Working together, I will help move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

 My passion is adding value to people. Having the privilege of standing with others while helping them reach their goals and aspirations is what has led me to the John Maxwell Team. I teach and live life according to my favorite quote, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”. Working in my family business for over 23 years I learned invaluable information on customer service and relationships. I served on the board of Grand Finale Cowboy ministries for  16 yrs. and am currently on the board of Cultivate Hope International. I have been married for almost 33 years and have two grown children and two grandchildren. I strongly believe that what we accomplish and get out of life is according to our belief system, and is ultimately our responsibility. Since 1999 I have applied the John Maxwell values and philosophies to my life. My devotion to living an Intentional Life has created significance, growth and satisfaction. By creating a plan and following that plan I have increased my development exponentially and I am positive that these same values and philosophies will create a life of passion and fulfillment for you.
